Excelsior Designs debuted Casa Novalia, a new company within the Excelsior Designs family in 2000. Addressing crème de la crème Contemporary and Transitional design enthusiasts, Casa Novalia creates furnishings of mixed media while capitalizing on Excelsior Design's reputation for spectacular veneers and finishing. Excelsior Designs and Casa Novalia feature furnishings for bedroom, dining, occasional, entertainment, and home office settings.

In 2004, Casa Novalia Leather was added to the line. Dozens of framestyles and leather selections allow for the perfect size, look, and comfort to suit each individual's needs. Excelsior Designs and Casa Novalia are available through fine furniture retailers ranging from single store Contemporary design specialists to multi-store companies that offer Contemporary and Transitional design in their menu of design choices. Although some retailers carry both the Excelsior Designs and Casa Novalia lines, Casa Novalia has also developed exclusive distribution.
