Nicole Miller Collection Debuts New Designs For Bedroom, Dining, and Living Rooms

March 2007, High Point, NC - For the first time since the original furniture debut in fall 2005, Nicole Miller walks down the home furnishings runway this spring. An extensive collection of furniture consisting of bedroom, dining room, living room, and home office selections will be launched in a newly-expanded showroom in IHFC Design Center D1110.

Throughout her 5,000 square feet Nicole Miller Design Studio, the look is quite unique with a slightly more masculine feel. Aptly called "Ritz," the new dining table, buffet, chairs, an atypical console, and home office strikes a New York pose. "Tiffany," a coordinating bedroom features a bold platform bed, dresser, mirror, nightstand, and semanier. All the case goods pieces feature distinctive Macassar Ebony veneers in a silky caramel color. Stainless steel, glass, black leather, and black lacquer elements smartly punctuate the exotic veneer. For those who appreciate the intricacies of Italian craftsmanship, the "Herald Square" occasional tables are a work of art. Crafted in oak and Macassar Ebony, each recessed square on the tabletops is painstakingly handcrafted.

Nicole's love of art deco and mid-century modern design is evident in the retro-influenced "Urban" sectional sofa. Tapered wood legs are visible along the front of the frame while the back of the sectional appears to float just off the floor. Upholstered in neutral colored, fine-woven chenille with Deco-inspired gold, silver, and bronze accent pillows, the tight seat and back silhouette is tailored and refined. A more transitional style, "Midtown," suggests serenity in a textured, multi-tone brown accessorized with scatter pillows in an exclusive pattern of spa blue and chocolate. A complementary chair and ottoman is also offered.

Rich colors abound in designer lines, and with 57 hues the new "Couture-Suede" for the Nicole Miller Collection pleases every home décor color palette. This exclusive microfiber fabric assortment is offered in the newest runway colors including ruby, snow pea, curry, truffle, and raisin. Stain resistant and durable, "Couture-Suede" for the Nicole Miller Collection ensures upholstered furniture endures season after season.

Approximate retail pricing for the newest case goods introductions from the Nicole Miller Collection start at $699; depending on fabric selection, upholstery starts at $1999 retail. All are expected to debut at fine furniture retailers in fall 2007.
